The task was to create a friendly neighborhood optician with a fashion-forward identity in design-conscious Copenhagen.Direction
Naming was part of the assignment.
Miyo - Japanese for “look” or “behold” - became the foundation for the brand, establishing a link between Danish and Japanese design.From there, we developed a complete brand platform across physical and digital touchpoints.
A bold logotype defined a distinct visual presence, balancing precision with movement.
This extended into website, photography and film combining a tight structure with a more expressive visual language.The identity carried into the retail space through signage and materials, while printed elements reinforced the tactile experience.
Each element was developed to work together creating a consistent and recognizable brand.Impact
Miyo launched as a distinct new player in a competitive category.By combining accessibility with a sharper identity, the brand operates both as a local store and as a standalone brand.
